Da trees, da trees, da trees are on fire!

Been sitting on this one for a while, finally got some time to polish it off and clean up the last few things it needed to finish it.
It was an assignment for our Illustration class, where we did faux magic cards.

Pretty happy with how this turned out overall, though I definitely see some areas I went wrong and where I would do things differently next time, feeling some breakthroughs coming in my work. :)

Figure Studies - 3.19.2012

Keeping on trucking, trying to get my figure game up! This first one was just a painting study that ended up getting fairly refined.

And then these are a lot of torso studies with some arms and hands sprinkled in. Gonna try and fill up my sketchbook with these babies!
