Sorceress Paintsketch

Took a pretty chill day today, so here's a quickie paintsketch. About an hour total, half drawing half painting. Obviously inspired by the Ritualist from Guild Wars, which have some of my favorite designs.

Hope ya dig it!

Zombies & Warm-ups

At last it's time to get back in the groove. Daily updates return NOW! *explosions and fireworks*
To re-start things off, here's the final for the zombies I mentioned in the above post, as well as a few 45 minutes warm-ups some of the guys and I did at the KC workshop.

In other news, TAD semester 3 just started and we're all diving in to our majors, Entertainment 2D for me, so hopefully I'll have some pretty awesome stuff to post from that pretty soon! Woohoo, arts!

Katy Perry E.T. - Speedpainting

I skipped updating yesterday in order for a double whammy today. Sooo here's a speedpainting / paintsketch thingy done yesterday based on Katy Perry's music video from E.T.

I'm not a big fan of hers, but there were some really badass visuals in this particular video, there's some really great compositions and color palettes going on that I thought would be fun to explore.

As for the double whammy, here's a recording of the painting in process! In case you feel like watching.

Paintsketching and Comp Studying

Here's a paintsketch I did today; something of an experiment for me, trying to find a fun way to just quickly doodle out an image and get a fairly interesting final result. This is only about 1.5 hours of work, which is obvious by how crap the drawing is, but I think it's a fun way to get out ideas and once I start getting some unconscious competence with draftsmanship skills they might actually look somewhat good. Funtimes!

Also, here's a composition study to bring the average quality of this post from D- to C, haha.

Will continue on mr. constructive figure drawing guy dude man soon, just needed to get out some just-for-fun art after a failed portrait this afternoon.

Have a good one, homebros. Don't get too drunk if you're Miami-ing it up.
